We are Mother of Corals, an ocean conservation organization.
Coral reefs are in trouble. Why do we care?
Reefs host some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on our planet.
25% of all marine life inhabit these ecosystems.
Over 1 billion people rely on coral reefs for their livelihood.
Reefs protect coastlines from erosion.
More than half of the world’s oxygen is produced by the ocean.
We are here to help!
We start coral restoration projects in areas in need .
We provide the tools and training needed to build and sustain new reefs.
We teach local communities.
Everyone can save corals – extending restoration education outside the scientific community gives us a better chance to save our oceans.
Our goal is not only to help start coral restoration projects in areas in need but also to educate the local community about the importance of corals, on what changes they can make in their daily lives to reduce their carbon footprint, and how to fish sustainably. These Citizen Scientists learn about the corals in their area and how to rebuild their reefs.

Your financial support will help fund:
Tools and materials needed to build artificial reefs.
Travel to communities to teach them the importance of corals, sustainable fishing and how restore/maintain their reefs.
Educational materials for project sponsors and communities.
As a local sponsor you take ownership of preparing for our project on the ground, foster community engagement and maintain the reefs after our setup phases are complete. We are looking for dive operators, hotels, dive resorts, schools and local governments. You will contribute to and benefit from a local ecosystem diversity that can enhance diving tourism, increase fish populations, regain a better balance of the human fingerprint and nature.
